Day trip to Fredrikstad 27th Jan 07

A daytrip to the town of Fredrikstad. Normally a bustling town and holiday destination in summer, this place really does wind down for the winter, as Jacqui and I found out! We were still able to walk around the local gamble byen (the old town), town fortress and walk across a bridge looking like a miniature sydney harbour bridge which had views of Fredrikstad to one side and views to sweden on the other.
